The Owners

In 1992, Ross Pryor founded Factory Automation Systems, and Mark Ligler joined soon afterwards as a co-owner. The company rapidly established itself as a systems integration leader in programmable controllers, drive systems, information solutions and robotic systems. FAS has remained focused for three decades on these core technologies while delivering automation solutions to a diverse mix of industries and customers across the U.S.

Jackie & Mark Ligler

Ross is an Electrical Engineer from Georgia Tech, and he and his wife Karen reside in Fayetteville, GA. Mark is a Mechanical Engineer from Georgia Tech, and he and his wife Jackie reside in Woodstock, GA. Both families are avid fans of Tech football, and they support various student programs at Tech through the Alumni Association. Ross and Mark serve on the House Committee and Board of Governors of the Phi Kappa Tau fraternity. Mark is on the advisory board of Tech’s Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, and he recently served on the Alumni Association Board of Trustees.

In the 30th year for FAS, Ross and Mark remain intensely focused on the quality of our workmanship and customer service, and they instill that intensity and drive in each employee at FAS.
